We are a team of students united by a shared passion for engineering, innovation, and problem solving.
Singapore Slingshot was established in 2024 (Halo Racing) with the ambition of competing at the highest level of F1 in Schools while developing the technical and professional skills required for the future.
Our journey extends far beyond designing a fast race car. Every challenge encourages us to think critically, communicate effectively, and continuously improve. Through engineering, enterprise, and teamwork, we are building knowledge that reaches well beyond the competition.

Every project begins with curiosity. We challenge ourselves to explore new ideas, test different concepts, and develop creative engineering solutions that improve performance while expanding our technical knowledge.

Attention to detail defines everything we do. From computer modelling and manufacturing to testing and presentation, every decision is carefully considered to ensure the highest possible standard throughout our project.

Progress comes through learning. Every prototype, every design revision, and every competition experience provides valuable lessons that help us improve as engineers, teammates, and innovators.
The Timeline
The Beginning
Singapore Slingshot was founded by a group of students with a shared interest in engineering and Formula One. During our first season we established team roles, developed our identity, and began designing our first Formula One in Schools race car.
Developing Our Skills
Our focus shifted towards improving our engineering process through CAD modelling, aerodynamic analysis, manufacturing techniques, and enterprise development. Every new iteration strengthened our understanding of professional engineering.
Building for Competition
With greater experience and stronger teamwork, we continue refining our race car while expanding our technical capabilities, sponsorship opportunities, and competition readiness. Every improvement moves us closer to achieving our long term goals.
